Full windlass Service
All our visitors had gone so it was at last time to pull the windlass and fix it. So these are the steps we took Make sure that the windlass is electrically isolated. We did this by first...It's time to run away
We had just seen one of the best dolphin displays ever on Salty Lass, my heart was in my mouth, it was just beating like crazy. I had been filming for our channel, but I wanted to be in the moment....We got ourselves a convoy!
After the yard, we stayed in Liverpool marina for one night as there was still lots to be done including adding sails and giving Salty Lass, the first of many cleans that were needed. However,...Is this bit meant to come off?
With our second week in the yard, it was time to crack on and remove our above water sea-cocks, and start on our toe rails and stanchions. Cushions Our cushions needed updating so I bought...Mooring and Moaning in Millport

Raising money for the RNLI
The RNLI turned 200 years old on 4th March 2024. So as sailors and people who promote the joy of sailing, we thought that we would like to raise just £200. What we hope is that other people take up the shout and raise their own £200. In the last 200 years the RNLI have saved over 144,000 lives and yet they are funded entirely by people like you. They are not government funded.
